I post a lot of photos of my gewgaws, things that inspire me, things I admire, and things that make me smile. I reblog a lot of things, too, especially anything Claire Huxtable related.
I have strong feelings—some would argue irrationally so—about typography, design, health care, Anglo-Saxon poetry, high-altitude gluten-free baking, ahimsa, Puccini arias, my beautiful nieces, consciousness, German Expressionism, Art Nouveau, Irish Republicanism, ballet (Vaganova, preferably), James Joyce, Nordic skiing, puppies, and the human iliotibial band. I know many cheerful facts about the square of a hypotenuse.
